PVA Membership Eligibility

Membership is open to U.S. citizens who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces and have a spinal cord injury or disorder, including MS or ALS, whether or not service-connected. Applicants must have been discharged under conditions other than dishonorable or be currently serving on active duty.

A completed membership application, DD-214 or other accepted proof of military service, and medical documentation are required. Proof of U.S. citizenship may be provided through a U.S. birth certificate, U.S. passport, or DD-214 if citizenship is noted on the document.
