The Paralyzed Veterans of America, Cal-Diego Chapter's mission is to improve the quality of life for veterans of the United States Armed Forces and others who have spinal cord injury or disorders.

Paralyzed Veterans of America, Cal-Diego Chapter membership eligibility is based on U.S. citizenship, either separation from active duty service under conditions other than dishonorable or current active duty, and incurrence of a spinal cord injury or disorder (such as MS/ALS), whether or not service-connected in origin.  Membership Application, DD-214, and a Physician's Statement is required.  Membership is free.​
